Kultur 11

Vielleicht through Earth Tag Americans try to promote such a phenomenon, but when I was in elementary school I remember seeing even kids who lived down the street being driven to school on that sunny day.

"From the very beginning of reunification, we only thought about the money," Schröder explains. "But that was only half the story. We should have also paid attention to the fact that this reunited nation would need to start sharing common values. Back then, everybody thought that those problems would go away if you threw money at them. That's proved not to be true."

Die Artikel considers the account of a man who talks about how there are different types of freedom; Im Osten there wasn’t the freedom to condemn the government, aber Leute were free to complain about their Job ohne die Angst of being fired. Ich finde es sehr faszinierend, no matter what the conditions are there is a way in which humans can acclimate und Glück finden.

Die „Mauer im Kopf“ continues to exist, so officials are now looking to younger generations who do not have vivid memories des Kalte Krieg to overcome the distinction between „Besser Wessers“ und „Jammer Ossies.“
