AMD 4

Für meine AMD 4 ich sah den Film „Effi“,  da ich nicht noch Detroit gehen konnte, Barbara zu sehen. Diese Film war sehr interessant. Ich freue mich die Figuren. Effi war eine starke Frau, die gezwungen Baron Geert von Innstetten heiraten wollte, im Alter von 17. Geert war 38 Jahre alt als er verheiratet Effi.

In the film, Effi must forget about her former "crush" (really, her distant cousin, whom she spent a lot of time with) and live in an old, seemingly haunted house with her new husband Geert. Neun Monate nach Effi Geert heiratet, hat sie ein Baby. Wegen seines Stelles, muss Geert viel reisen. Er ist nicht zu Hause seit Wochen in einer Zeit und und Effi ist viel allein gelassen. To occupy herself, she joins a small production of a theatrical play in town. There, she gets closer to Major Crampas, who is known to be a "womanizer" despite the fact that he is "happily" married to a wife with several children. Soon an affair between them begins.

Geert returns from a business trip and gives news that they must move to Berlin. Effi is heartbroken but knows it's for the best that she leaves Crampas and her infidelity behind, but not before several letters are exchanged between the two about their affair.

Years pass, Effi's daughter now growing up into a lovely young lady. However, Geert discovers the letters that Effi kept from her days of adultery and immediately files for a divorce. He also challenges Crampas to a duel. Crampas agrees to the duel and ends up dead because of that decision. After her separation from Geert and dismissal by her parents, Effi hears of Crampas' death and is devastated. She then develops an anxiety disorder and tries to live on her own, which is difficult at first. Despite her difficult life, Effi manages to compose herself and gain back the strength she once had as a child.

After some time, Effi's parents come to her, requesting that she return home. Effi deliberates and contemplates about her circumstances. She has finally mad a living for herself, despite her years of ostracism and lost relationship with her daughter (Geert gained custody of Anne in the divorce). After thinking and having a smoke (which is unheard of for women of her family's social stature), she states that they cannot have her back. And with pride, Effi leaves them behind.

Dieser Film gefällt mir. Ich genoss das Handlungsstrang, dachte ich, es war sehr gut gemacht. I admired Effi's strength and personality throughout the whole movie. Though her decision to cheat on her husband wasn't honorable, I could relate to her hardship through her marriage and life in general and feel some kind of empathy for her. The ending was very moving...I could feel Effi's empowerment myself as she walked away from her parents.
